MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin popular music scene has been affected by his global popularity. The 2016 smash Una Lady Como Tu was the winner of a Colombian Kids Choice Award for the most popular Song in 2017. The album he released as his debut ADN was released by La Industria Inc., which is a Medellin-based Sony distribution company. On the Top Latin Albums chart, it reached no. 8. Vaina Loca was one of the Top Five hit for Ozuna and for him in the following year. Mala Influencia, which was released in the year 2020, by Noriel and his Dopamina album that year. In 2021, he also performed the duet for TINI's smash streaming single Maldita Foto. 2023 was the year 2000 when the hit La Bachata was released. Turizo was raised within a musical family, since both his mom and his older brother are musicians. He has said in interviews that music is a must. As a child, was playing the ukulele and the piano. The first goal was to be Veterinarian, however after his brother Julian convinced to him take singing lessons from a Cuban musician, he rearranged his the direction of his career.
