Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri Dixit is a famous Indian actor, known for her role in the films Beta Saajan and Hum Haiin Koun..! In the 80s, she began her acting career and became well-known for the character Tezaab, in which she starred alongside veteran actor Anil Kapooor. Then she appeared in the film Dil in which she was on screen alongside Aamir Khan. In Mumbai the city she was born in a family of middle-class parents. As a child, she began to learn about age, she started to take dance lessons. As a teenager, she began acting and suffered for several years due to the fact that her films at first were unsuccessful. She eventually became one of the biggest actresses of Indian films. Following her marriage she had a break in her career before re-entering the film industry. She played a major role as a lead actress in Gulaab Gang, a film about women's struggles in India. Dixit is nominated to win the fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she took home eight. Padma Shri - the fourth most highly regarded civilian award in India is awarded to Dixit. Social work by her is popular.
